DATASETS FRONTIER

Cookies and browser storage

Change on 8 November 2026. The private workspace link, the site owner's sign-in page and the two cookies and one browser-storage item that came with them were retired, so this page no longer lists them. This notice stays until 8 December 2026.

This page lists every cookie and every item of browser storage this site uses, with exact names and lifetimes, read from the site's own code. It starts on 7 November 2026.

Cookies

The public website sets no cookies. When the enquiry form is open, Cloudflare Turnstile checks it without its clearance cookie.

Browser storage

The public pages keep one item in your browser's local storage, named df-reading, and only after you turn on Reading mode with the Reading mode switch at the top of each page. It holds the single word on so the next page opens in the same way. It has no expiry date: it stays until you turn the switch off, which removes it, or clear this site's data; some browsers also clear it after a period without a visit. It is read only by the page in your browser and is never sent to us or to anyone else.

What we do not use

No analytics, no advertising, no social-media trackers and no third-party cookies appear anywhere on this site. Content is served with a strict content security policy, and third-party scripts are not loaded: the only script on the public pages is the site's own Reading mode switch.

Consent

Everything above is either strictly necessary to operate or secure the site, or (df-reading) stored only because you asked for it by pressing the switch, so the site carries no consent banner. If a future feature ever adds storage that is not strictly necessary, consent will default to off: the storage will be used only after you accept, and this page will describe it first.

Your controls

You can clear or block cookies and local storage in your browser settings. Clearing df-reading returns the pages to the standard display.
